About this rod

Very Rare Hardy Marksman 7ft 3wt Fly Rod paired with Marquis Lwt 2/3wt Reel.

I bought this rod years ago for the sole purpose of fishing a stretch of river which a friend had the rights to following the purchase of a riverside property. Tragically he died suddenly before I got the chance and up and till April this year the rod had remained unused by me.
I finally decided to buy the aforementioned Marquis reel which compliments the rod perfectly in my opinion and try it out.

It is indeed a fantastic rod but it didnt "feel right" hence I have decided to sell the outfit.

It is in absolute fabulous condition
